The Meski brand is one of the suppliers of premium quality honey and olive oil in Europe. The brand has expanded its range of honeys from around the world and is dedicated to promoting raw bioactive honey – from exquisite mono- and polyfloral varieties to delicious fusions bursting with flavor. At Meski, each honey has its own personality, its own aromas, and its own health benefits. Today, Meski aims to thrive in the Middle East to be closer to beekeepers and offer you our finest honeys.
About Meski
The name Meski comes from the ancient village of Ksar Meski, now in ruins, situated on a rocky outcrop. Old fortification strongly resembles the Igoudar. The enclosure is entirely built of stones cemented with earth mortar and is flanked by six towers. Built in the 12th century, Ksar Meski is one of the rare monuments from that era still standing.
It is one of the most well-known sites in the Moroccan desert. This place is characterized by the diversity of its landscape and architecture, which seems straight out of a medieval tale.
The village was abandoned in the 1960s after significant floods forced the inhabitants to rebuild on the other side of the oasis. Today, the village is known thanks to the Blue Spring of Meski, located 20 km southeast of Errachidia, towards Erfoud. A resurgence of the Oued Ziz, it flows generously to form a majestic pool, perfect for cooling off. It provides the ideal setting for a pleasant time with family, in the shade of palm trees and ocher rocks.
Our Founder
Our founder, known as “Meskaoui,” is a passionate connoisseur of rare and luxurious natural products such as honey and olive oil, of which he is a fan. Having grown up in Paris, France, his travels and discoveries of what nature can offer without necessarily having to visit a doctor, as well as knowing that over 60% of natural products such as honey or oil are adulterated without concern for public health, have deeply impacted him.
During his explorations, he was shocked to find that he could only find good honey and olive oil during his travels. This realization triggered a quest and fueled an obsession: to make the best from around the world accessible to everyone.
To achieve this, he forged strong bonds with beekeepers and farmers. Through these relationships, he was able to establish his own beehives in the Middle East and Morocco, situated in the heart of natural habitats. Today, he aims to conquer the world by bringing you unique and delicious products.
